Fabio Coentrao's time at Real Madrid has finally come to an end following the termination of the left back's contract by the Spanish giants.
The termination comes after a mutual agreement by both sides about the left back's contract.
For the past three seasons, the left back have been on loan at French side Monaco and also at Sporting. Coentrao will return to Rio Ave, his boyhood club where he began his football career.
Coentrao has an illustrious career with Real Madrid, despite numerous injuries. Playing 58 times for Real Madrid, winning 2 La Liga, 1 Copa Del Rey, 2 UEFA Champions League, 1 UEFA Super Cup and 2 FIFA Club World Cup.
What an illustrious career for this player at Bernabéu. Can we ever forget his incredible performance against Bayern Munich in the 2014 UEFA Champions League semifinals?
